Silence the Shame Sunday occurs on the Sunday during the week of National Silence the Shame day. This year, 2019, Silence the Shame Sunday will be on National Silence the Shame Day, May 5th. Churches will participate nationwide spreading the message by recognizing that May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and getting the conversation started in their congregation.
