Atlanta City Hall
7-11PM

We’re turning the volume all the way up—in silence.

Join us for Silence the Shame’s 2nd Annual A Brilliant Mind Gala on Thursday, October 10, 2025, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm at the stunning Atlanta City Hall Atrium. This year, we’re doing something unforgettable: an all-black Silent Party experience, featuring renowned Atlanta DJs spinning Hip-Hop and R&B—from today’s top artist to old school legends.

You’ll vibe to the beat through your own headset, but make no mistake—this party has a purpose. Our goal: raise $250,000 to fund life-changing mental health programs for youth and adults in communities that need it most.

Here’s why this matters: STS Impact

85% of participants gained stronger mental health literacy

87% said they’re more willing to ask for help

88% improved their college and career readiness

88% reported positive behavior changes toward wellness

We’re proud of this progress—but we’re just getting started. Mental health stigma still silences too many people. Through culturally responsive programs, honest conversations, and creative outreach, STS is helping folks heal out loud—and dance through the darkness together.

The night will be filled with music, mission, cocktails, dinner, and a silent auction—all with your support powering our work. Whether you join us as a CHAMPION of Change or a LISTENER of Light, your sponsorship directly supports access to prevention, treatment, education, and recovery.

Let’s Make Some Noise—QUIETLY.

Thank You to Our Supporters

Unfortunately, discussing mental health challenges and conditions has often been met with fear and negative perceptions. Approximately 1 in 5 adults experience mental illness in a year, yet less than half receive the necessary assistance. To empower individuals to seek the support they need, it is imperative to destigmatize conversations around mental health and promote greater awareness of wellness. Last year, we successfully engaged over 6,500 individuals in community discussions, fostering a sense of normalcy around mental health and promoting early intervention through increased mental health literacy. STS is dedicated to forging significant partnerships and creating opportunities to expand our mental health literacy programs. However, we cannot accomplish this without your support!

Contributing to the Gala will enable us to continue offering vital programming to youth and adults in underserved communities, including conversation series, wellness seminars, and youth development activities. We kindly request your consideration in sponsoring the Gala, as your contribution will make a tremendous difference in our ability to plan and execute this event.
