Faith and Community Based Capacity and Recovery Initiative with DBHDD
Faith and community leaders are essential in these conversations as they are often the first place that individuals and families reach out to when they experience challenges, behavioral health issues, and/or traumatic events. The workshops included various leaders from Faith-Based organizations, churches, and communities throughout the state of Georgia. 2017- 2018
Community Conversations with Aids Healthcare Foundation
Curated a conversation with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation in 2019 that address the double stigma around mental health and HIV in the Black community.
Our first Teen Mental Heath forum was in 2016 through our partnership with Jack and Jill of America Foundation and included discussions with licensed mental health professionals, mental health advocates, and people with lived experiences. After the panel, teens get to engage in breakout discussions.
